Proving you can’t get a good rider down, Alonso López has shown he will always bounce back from hardship with more determination and speed than before.

A proven hard hitter in his FIM Moto3 Junior World Championship days, Alonso López looked to kick it up yet another notch as he stepped up to the Moto3 World Championship, adapting to the high-flying pace of the class well, only to be sidelined without a permanent seat in Grand Prix racing in 2021.

Focusing on the CEV Moto2 European Championship instead, López took to the podium at every race he entered to claim the runner-up position in the championship, setting himself up for a glorious comeback to the world stage for the next season.

However, the man from Madrid once again missed out and started the season watching the racing from the couch at home. But not for long. Stepping in as a substitute rider, with the 2022 season well underway, López got his comeback in the GPs at long last. As if to prove a point, López took home five podiums and two wins from the fourteen races contested, to finish the 2022 Moto2 season in eighth. A hard hitter, indeed.

López’s 2023 season started off strong with several podium finishes and ended on a high as well. All set to fight for title glory aboard the Boscoscuro machine on the new Pirellis he’s already taking to very nicely!
