As Facility Manager, you play a vital role in that. After all, you’re responsible for making our headquarters a nice place to work, but above all a nice place to be. An environment that exudes REV’IT!, encourages collaboration, and where you can use the REV’IT! Restaurant and the REV’IT! Gym.

Facility affairs at REV’IT! includes a wide range of activities. And you’ll be in charge: from maintenance, security and grounds-keeping, to catering, appearance and hospitality. As a manager, you’ll naturally set the policies, but you’re not afraid of getting your hands dirty in operational issues when necessary.

This is an eclectic job that won’t keep you stuck at your desk. And the great thing is: we’re preparing to move to a brand-new building. That will give you the opportunity to set up many facility issues the right way, and to maintain them at the desired level afterwards.

In short: a challenge for a proactive Facility Manager with an eye for detail, and who understands what management, our employees and our guests think is important.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN
IN PRACTICE?

In this position, you will combine management duties with operational activities. Generally speaking, your job will entail the following:

  • You’ll be responsible for all of the company’s facility issues: from maintenance, security and grounds-keeping, to catering, appearance and hospitality.
  • You’ll identify the needs and wishes of management, employees and guests, and apply them to concrete plans and activities.
  • You’ll proactively suggest ways to make our workplace a pleasant, well-functioning and attractive place to be.
  • You’ll monitor budgets and ensure activities are conducted in a cost-efficient manner.
  • You’ll select contact partners, negotiate with them, draw up contracts, and ensure that they are carried out.
  • You’ll make suggestions for rules and guidelines for the building and its premises, and ensure that they are followed.
  • You’ll ensure that our products comply with all relevant legislation and regulations.
  • You’ll seize the chance presented by the move to organise facility issues right the first time.
  • You’ll do things yourself if necessary.
  • You’ll immerse yourself in the latest developments in facility management, and share your knowledge with the organisation.

This is a full-time position (32 hours per week) You’ll report to the HR Manager.

  • You have a relevant degree in a field such as Facility Management.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • You have a talent for both policy and operations.
  • You’re proactive and you bring energy to your work.
  • You’re flexible and you can adapt quickly.
  • You have an eye for details as well as the big picture.
  • You can hold your own in communication, in both Dutch and English.
  • You’re a good negotiator and contract manager.
  • You have structural and technical insight.
  • You’re hospitable and customer-friendly.
  • You’re a team player, but also extremely capable of working independently;
  • You closely follow developments in your field.
  • You understand the importance of your work at both the strategic and operational levels.
