full grain cowhide
Full grain leather is among the best quality leather you can buy. It can be made from a variety of different animal hides, but most usually is cowhide. Full grain leather is desirable because of its excellent breathability and durability. Additionally, with full grain leather, the hides of the animal need not be treated significantly. Like a pair of jeans, full grain leather clothing actually gets more comfortable the more you wear it, becoming softer and, some say, even more attractive as it ages.
- suede leather with WR finish
A fabric with a WR finish has undergone a process that makes it water-repellent and soil-resistant. The WR coating is bonded to the fabric at the molecular level, enhancing the fabric’s natural water-repellence and soil-resistance, without altering how the fabric looks, feels, or breathes.
The hydratex®|Sphere waterproofing technology is laminated directly to the outer shell of our boots. The laminated membrane keeps feet dry and shielded against the elements.
adjustable hook and loop closure
The stretch panel at the calf is covered with a hook and loop pile fastener for an adjustable fit.
Boa® Closure System
The unique Boa® closure system makes for a perfect fit, an extremely fast closure and a very light weight boot. Enter the shoe, push the knob to engage, turn it for the perfect fit, and pull up on the knob for a quick release. Once locked in place the Boa® reels and laces stay that way. Made from aircraft-grade stainless steel, Boa® laces are stronger per gram than tank armor.
rubber abrasion edge
The rubber abrasion edge minimizes damage from everyday use. Be it flying stones and dirt while riding or repeated wear from foot flexion—while crouching next to bike to check the oil, for example—the rubber edge safeguards the boot from damage.
PP insole with integrated shank
To avoid torsion, the sole features a layer of polypropylene, while a reinforced polypropylene rib from the heel to the shank adds extra support for standing on the foot pegs. To ensure walking remains comfortable, the front end of the sole is equipped with grooves for flexibility.
easy entrance pull strap
A heavy-duty pull strap at the calf for ease of entry is made of a webbing that can handle the strongest of tugs.
Vibram® Apex Sole
The combined expertise of the Italian company Vibram® and our in-house developers led to the birth of the revolutionary Vibram® Apex sole. This sole has been specifically developed for adventure motorcycling but offers the comfort of a trekking boot. Its profile features one distinct area for traction, one for braking and one for stability. The surface of the sole is a bit larger providing more comfort while walking. The durable material and construction ensure this sole will last.
Multi-density EVA shock absorbing midsole
Part of the Vibram® Apex sole is the Multi-density EVA shock absorbing mid-sole. As the name indicates, this layer is added to reduce all energy caused by the impact of walking or riding transmitted to the foot and leg and is a great contributor to the comfort of the boots.
TPU heel stabilizer
The TPU heel stabilizer allows for a construction where the entire sole can be extended in length and width offering more stability and resulting in a more comfortable boot for walking.
silver-ion antibacterial 3D mesh lining
This open-loft three-dimensional mesh enhances the breathability of the boot. An addition layer of silver is added to kill bacteria when it oxidizes, keeping your boots smell free.
- anatomical shaped foot bed
anatomically shaped ankle cup
The ankle area has been padded and reinforced for comfort, and to support proper foot position.
The comfort collar is added to products to offer more comfort in crucial places. An extra soft fabric is used for a cozy finish.

I was recommended these boots by a friend who had a pair. I wasn’t sure about the looks as they did not have conventional buckle fastening but I took a chance. I’ve had the boots for nearly a year and have to say that I’m really happy with my purchase. I had to buy a size up from my normal size and they were uncomfortable in the beginning but they are really comfy now, even with thin socks. I recently toured Norway in some REALLY wet weather and I can report that the boots are 100% waterproof, even after 8 hours of continuous rain. One foot did get wet one day but I figured out that the water was travelling down from my pants (you have to ensure that the waterproof membrane is OVER the boot) and the boot was not leaking. I was sceptical about the BOA system but the material seems to be very strong and gives a very nice secure fit. After a year of heavy touring use these boots still clean up like new. Also, I bought the boots in a dealer sale so the price I paid makes them a real bargain. I’m very pleased with them and might buy a second pair in case they become unavailable.
Bought the first pair 2 years ago. Turned out that they were not waterproof. Sent them back and got another pair. They started leaking after a few trip in rainy weather. Sent them back to dealer and got the third pair 2 weeks ago. They were waterproof one time when I was going through a small stream, but one week later on a holiday to Norway, I got cold and wet feet in one week old boots.
Now Revit has proved to me that they can not produce waterproof boots. And the biggest joke is that they named the boots H2O.
If Revit think that I give up now, they are wrong. I return the boots and request the 4th pair. This is the only way to force Revit to perform better.
Otherwise, I am happy with the BOA closure and the style, but I can only recommend them for dry weather.
I do not recommend these boots to people who need waterproof footwear.
The boots are NOT WATERPROOF, this is an essential feature for an adventure boot.
unfortunately, al the other good stuff about these boots is not worthy because of its failure on the waterproof issue.
Sorry, I love Rev'it but need to improve.
Had the worst of luck with my Discovery boots.
Starting with the pros: decent protection, extremely comfortable, BOA system is great, possible to ride in extremely warm conditions without getting baked inside. The looks are perfect for everyday use too, they don't like a motorcycle boot at all.
Facts: tend to run a full size small
Cons: my boots start leaking water as soon as I find a decent puddle of water on my path, even in completely dry conditions. The stream of water coming from the front wheel and fender on my R1200GS is enough to get my socks wet in a couple of seconds. It had happened three times to me last month and the total quality of the membrane is extremely questionable.
I've got them for a year and a half with previous year riding in completely dry conditions so the warranty claim has been rejected by both Rev'it and the local dealer in Russia, so now they're only used for city commute on dry days and I'm getting another Sidi Adventure which is a shame.
