Removable and wearable GORE-TEX® jacket
CE Level 2 armor at shoulders and elbows
There’s no doubt about it, the Neptune 2 GTX jacket is 100% geared towards motorcycling. We are not trying to make it look like anything else other than a competent piece of riding gear. It’s all in plain sight. No hidden technologies. No subtle color blocking or design features. The Neptune 2 GTX oozes pure performance and durability that will appeal to a very large audience.
This jacket is purpose-built for all-season, daily commuters and long-distance travellers looking for versatility and 4-season usage. Both the jacket, as well as the trousers, are constructed of separate layers. Underneath the extremely abrasion-resistant and highly breathable Teflon®-coated outer shell of the jacket, you will find a separately wearable and 100% waterproof GORE-TEX® jacket with Paclite® Technology. The third and final layer of defence is the one against the cold, a thermal liner, which will protect your core even in the coldest of weather conditions.
With the waterproof and insulation layer removed, the Neptune GTX Jacket is a highly ventilated jacket. Furthermore, the abrasion-resistant outer shell incorporates our award-winning SEEFLEX™ CE-level 2 armor at the elbows and shoulders.

high density polyester 600D with Teflon® coating
This fabric takes polyester yarn and weaves it with a finer polyester yarn, to create a high woven density that increases protection and abrasion-resistance.
Polyester Ripstop with Teflon® Coating
Polyester yarns woven into a ripstop. Thick reinforcement threads are interwoven at regular intervals into the fabric in a crosshatch pattern known as ripstop. The water-and-dirt-repellent Teflon® coating makes it difficult for dirt to affix to or penetrate any material.
- detachable thermal liner
detachable GORE-TEX® Product with Paclite® Technology
GORE-TEX® with Paclite® technology is windproof, waterproof and extremely breathable. It is the ideal material for motorcycle clothing as it protects you against the elements. We added a thin lining to protect the Paclite® membrane and to ensure that it won't stick to your skin when riding in warmer weather without a thermal liner.
- elastic draw cord at hem
- adjustment tabs
The REV’IT! flexisnap makes it possible to adjust the collar circumference easily and personalize its fit to each rider. A jacket is often worn in more then one season, and the flexisnap makes it possible to adjust the collar within seconds. During winter a wider collar circumference accommodates combining the jacket with a balaclava or wind collar, while during summer, a wider circumference lets an all-important cooling wind into the collar.
separate wearable GORE-TEX® inner jacket with Paclite® Technology
GORE-TEX® with Paclite® technology is windproof, waterproof and exceptionally breathable, making it an ideal material for motorcycle clothing. This jacket not only protects you against the elements on the bike, but doubles as a casual jacket off the bike.
The collar hook and loop allow you to draw back the front side of the collar, allowing air flow to cool the neck during warmer periods of the year without the annoying flapping of the loose collar.
long and double short connection zipper
This jacket has a long connection zipper and double short connection zipper. Not only can it be paired with any pair of pants in the REV'IT! line, but its second, short connection zipper on the membrane ensures that the membrane stays in place.
prepared for Challenger cooling vest insert
The jacket is prepared for the Challenger cooling vest insert. The Challenger can be zipped directly into the outer shell with the connection zippers.

When my search for a high quality all weather suit stopped at the Neptune GTX jacket I was convinced this suit would be the one for me. The main benefit that tipped the scales in favour for this option was the inclusion of a Gore-Tex inner layer. I simply didn't want to have the worry that when I look outside the window in the morning, rain and low temperatures would stop me from riding. Especially when you're travelling from A to B.
For the past 8 months I've done 2 somewhat bigger trips of 5+ weeks each, one of which was last month in the Balkan countries. Where at the time the weather was complete shit. Less than 10 degrees and rain, continuously throughout the day. And to my disappointment the suit didn't hold up to it's promise. For 2-3 hours in the rain waterproofness is still there, but after that you're getting wetter and wetter. Especially in the sleeve area and on the back of your legs / bum. By the end of the day I would be soaked. The gore-tex layer doesn't seem to hold up to it's high standard. Even though I've previously owned gore-tex jackets (non motorcycle) before. They kept me bone dry 100% of the time. Checked for loose stitchings or other small leaks in the suit, but didn't find them. I'm pairing the suit with a pair of gore-tex gloves and gore-tex boots.
Even though the suit is not waterproof, for the rest it's a fine outfit. Fit's well, plenty of adjustability. One minor niggle is that the adjustment straps to make the suit snug around your body loosen up by the end of the day. Maybe a little bit of extra adjustability around the lower part of the legs would be nice, but I then think you're maybe better off buying a more offroad oriented suit like the Cayenne Pro.
Hot weather ventilation is excellent, especially when you open up the sleeves at the end. Used the suit in 40 degree celsius heat with warm winds, and it ventilated just fine. Ofcourse a t-shirt will cool you down more, but nothing beats the feeling of safety.
The versatility aspect is well made. The gore-tex liner is easy to button in as is the winter liner. All easy to zip-in or out within 10 minutes.
Please buy this suit if you're looking for a versatile year round solution to get on the bike. But consider to buy something more rugged and expensive sadly, if you need something really protective against the elements and when you're doing lot's of travelling. The fact that one of the key features is letting you down on moments you really need to rely on your gear would not make me to buy this again when it's used up.
Cuando le quitas a la chaqueta el impermeable de gorotex y la dejas solo con el forro polar las mangas del forro polar se quedan sueltas no tiene donde engancharlas por dentro y cuando te quitas la chaqueta se viene la manga para fuera.
