That’s why we’ve included a hard shell palm slider. It reinforces a vulnerable part of the hand without compromising flexibility or movement. Should you find yourself in an unfortunate mishap, the hard shell structure of the palm slider is designed to let you continue to “slide,” and won’t catch on various road surfaces. This helps to avoid any abrupt stops that could further damage or create problems to your hand, arm, or body.

The all-new Speedart H2O had to be worthy of their name – the finest example of the art of balancing sporty motorsports style with premium, waterproof, summer performance; gloves capable of optimizing road-ready handlebar feedback, while delivering superior comfort and control while keeping you dry. And – spoiler alert – they really do.
Road-tested leathers
We research, design, and test every stitch, panel, and textile to find the ideal motorcycle-specific properties. Like the freedom of movement afforded by lots of carefully positioned stretch. On the Speedart H2O’s palms, the strength of soft, water-resistant, drum-dyed goatskin leather gives the gloves maximum feel and handlebar feedback.
Ride the summer, no matter the weather
Riding at pace in summer calls for a clever balance of protection and wet weather-readiness, and so the Speedart H2O are carefully crafted to cosset your fingers and palms with a waterproof hydratex Z-liner and malleable memory foam. Should you come to a sudden stop, your gloves need to be your safety net, which is where an additional cushioning layer of memory foam under the TPU hard-shell knuckle protectors comes in. Plus, there’s the added reassurance of TPU palm sliders, proven to prevent and reduce risk of injury.

hydratex|Z-linerA waterproof layer is laminated onto a carrier to construct the REV’IT! hydratex|Z-liner membrane. The carrier, in turn, protects the membrane against wear-and-tear damage, and the seams of the membrane are taped to ensure waterproofing. The Z- liner is constructed between the lining and the outer shell. The REV’IT! hydratex|Z-liner membrane is used in garments that demand a high level of all-weather protection.

TPU hard shell knuckle
TPU hard shell palm slider
Palm slider made of a durable and high abrasion resistant TPU material at the palm side of the glove. The palm slider makes sure that the glove slides in case the palm of the hand comes in contact with the asphalt. The abrasion resistance of gloves equipped with these sliders is greatly increased, thus reducing the risk of injury significantly.

Automan stretchAnother type of stretch fabric, Automan is used to maintain protection while riding, but with a form-fitting and elastic silhouette that maximizes comfort.
