You’re looking at gloves that have undergone extensive development before being tested to the limit. The absolute limit, that is. You’re looking at gloves that have been tried and tested in high speed crashes, high siders, low siders, and virtually anything MotoGP and WorldSBK throws at riders who are looking for the limit - while sometimes going over it. The Jerez 3 has allowed numerous riders to walk away with their hands unscathed after a nasty crash, thanks to offering a true harness to the hands.
As much of a harness as it may be, we’ve made sure all protection follows the hand’s anatomy; providing you with the proper feel that you need right through to your fingertips. It’s as natural as it gets, allowing you to ride - or race - with no distractions.
For this reason, you’ll find a harmonica construction knuckle protector that runs all the way to the back of the hand, giving you the freedom of movement while protecting the top surface of the hand.
Knuckle protectors – also included on the little finger- allow for a controlled slide in case it’s needed, putting less stress on these ligaments and ultimately preventing overstressing. The wrist is covered with a top-spec TPU protector, making sure this crucial part is armored.
At the palm area, you’ll find two sliders, and for a good reason. Due to the need to orient ourselves in case of a crash, a natural reaction is to put one’s hands on the tarmac for reference. Thanks to the palm sliders, this results in a controlled slide that – again - prevents overstressing of certain parts of the hands thanks to lowered friction. The scaphoid palm slider used in the Jerez glove is a patented technology, licensed by Planet Knox Limited. Patent No. EP 1594378 B1.
