CORDURA® fabric with COOLMAX® element
The highly abrasion-resistant and tough CORDURA® fabric has been matched with a mesh lining that is made from COOLMAX®; a high-tech fabric specifically engineered to keep users dry and comfortable. COOLMAX® mesh is made from polyester fibers with an increased surface area. These special multi-channel fibers form a transport system that moves perspiration away from the skin to the outer layer of the fabric, where it can evaporate quickly, allowing the wearer to feel cooler and more comfortable.

SEESMART™ protectors offer the highest level of flexibility while still passing the EN1621-1:2012 CE-level 1 impact tests in both normal and hot (T+) conditions. Lightweight, highly ventilated, and extremely agile, SEESMART™ protectors are virtually unnoticeable when riding despite being up to the task of protecting you in the event of an unfortunate mishap. Thanks to their flexible construction, these protectors sit close to your body and follow your anatomy. Enjoy endless off-road exploration on two wheels with our CE-certified and splash proof, active fit over-the-boot Continent hard shell pants – as part of our DIRT Series collection.
On the inside of the legs and upper knees, the Continent has been engineered with the rugged abrasion-resistant Cordura® ripstop fabric combined with PWR|Shell ripstop stretch for maximum flexibility and comfort. Soft leather panels on the lower inside legs provide extra grip when standing on the motorcycle. Protection is provided by our removable SEESMART™ CE-level 1 protectors at the hips and knees.
Furthermore, the knee construction is designed to work with knee braces or our Scram knee protectors – with the SEESMART™ protectors first removed, of course. For convenience purposes, the upper legs are equipped with cargo pockets for added storage options, and ventilation zippers to cool the rider down.
For the right fit, we’ve included a ratchet waist closure, along with a silicon waistband to keep the pants from sliding down. Additionally, the lower legs are equipped with a special gator that goes over the boot to block out water and mud.

Durability and great abrasion resistance are the defining characteristics of PWR|Shell, thanks to its special ripstop weaving. Thick reinforcement threads are interwoven at regular intervals into the fabric in a crosshatch pattern known as ripstop.
