As a Business Controller you are part of the Finance Team at the head office of REV’IT! in Oss, the Netherlands. You are responsible for financial business support and assetmanagement items/stock.

In terms of asset management our stock in our Warehouses in NL and US and our Manufacturing locations all over the world are very important and therefor your main focus points.

You will be our in-house ERP specialist, one that knows all the business rules from the several disciplines/departments and knows how to translate this into measurable financial goals and how to achieve efficiency quickly. Not only do you know how this can be achieved, you can also perfectly explain the reason behind certain facts and figures. Furthermore, when other departments have questions, issues, and new projects and processes in the financial area, your goal will always be to build smart solutions together.

Besides that, you will be responsible for the financial accounts and preparation of the year report for some REV’IT! B2C companies.

The position requires discipline, analysis skills, common sense, foresight, and someone who shares the ambition to grow. Generally speaking, your job will entail the following:

• You’ll have a perfect understanding of the valuation of the REV’IT! finished products, related raw materials, and the production process. You’re responsible for a correct fixation of this in the applicable systems.
• You’ll be auditing and controlling the flows of finished products and raw materials (coaching on inventory management, yearly stock-takings, and revaluation).
• You’ll be our in-house ERP specialist for all finance related issues.
• You’ll collect, analyze and report financial data from the ERP system.
• You’ll be responsible for the Customs management system of the company (DMS) and comply with the Customs Rules in the Netherlands (in this, it can be reported that REV’IT! has been granted the Dutch bonded warehouse license (AEO-C). In that, you will be in close contact with the other departments involved in Customs which are Supply Chain, the Warehouse, and Sales.

• You’ll continually identify areas for potential financial improvement. Take initiative to start, lead, and execute improvement projects with focus on output and relevance for our business.
• You’ll ensure compliance with our companies’ financial policies and procedures.
• You’ll participate in ad-hoc projects and improvement projects initiated by Finance and other departments.
• You’re responsible for closing the financial accounts of our B2C companies.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). You’ll report to the Finance Director.

This is a multi-faceted position that requires organization and flexibility, as well as foresight and the ability to set priorities. We expect the following qualifications:

• You have at least a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in the area of Business Economics.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a (Business) Controller in an international organization.
• You have excellent MS Excel skills.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• You’re a team player with good communication skills, who can multi-task, and is an efficient planner.
• You’re a self-starter who is focusing on output and tangible results, who is also willing to invest in your own development and future, in an ambitious and international environment.
• You’ll take ownership of actions and work products.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch.
