HOW TO CARE FOR REV'IT! gloves

Depending on when you ride, where and what type of riding you do, we make sure you have a wide range of choices when it comes to our motorcycle gloves. We pay close attention to the small details not only in terms of safety, but also it terms of style. We want your hands staying protected but looking good.

We use a wide variety of materials and fabrics to bring you comfortable gloves that you’ll love. Materials used in the construction of our gloves can include: goatskin, cowhide, 3D air mesh, corduroy, two-way stretch, suede and more.

general care instructions

It is recommended to clean and inspect your REV'IT! gloves after each use. Please keep the following instructions in mind.

  • Clean the gloves by hand using a damp cloth and do not use hot water
  • Remove difficult stains by using neutral soap or a special leather or textile cleaner
  • Do not allow your gloves to come in contact with solvents (do not use fabric softener!), petrol or cleaning agents. This could change the characteristic properties (e.g. the color) of your gloves
  • Do not place your REV'IT! gloves near, or let your gloves get into contact with a direct heat source or direct sunlight, otherwise the material will become stiff
  • Do not use a washing machine, dry cleaning or high pressure devices to clean the product, as high temperature and pressure may damage the product
  • t is recommended that you store the gloves in a dry and well ventilated environment, out of sunlight and away from direct heat sources
  • Make sure that your gloves are completely dry before you store them. When gloves are stored wet or in a non ventilated area, this may cause deformations and damage your gloves.
  • Use our own REV’IT! Leather Cleaner & Conditioner or REV'IT! Textile Spray to treat your gloves

It is recommended to care for your leather gloves after each use.

  • Wearing non-waterproof gloves in the rain is not recommended
  • If leather gloves become wet, dry them naturally
  • Do not place your leather REV'IT! gloves near, or let your leather gloves get into contact with a direct heat source or direct sunlight, otherwise the leather will become stiff
  • To care for your leather gloves use our own REV'IT! Leather Cleaner & Conditioner, our REV'IT! Leather Spray or a neutral and colorless leather cream.

It is recommended to care for your textile gloves after each use.

  • Textile gloves may contain leather parts. Such gloves should be treated as leather gloves
  • For waterproof gloves: avoid contact with sharp objects that may puncture the waterproof insert of the gloves
  • To care for your textile gloves use our own REV'IT! Textile Spray or our own REV'IT! Textile wash

Most of our gloves are water- and dirt-repellent. If the surface of your waterproof gloves gets wet and starts taking up water, you can get cold hands. If water does not roll off the gloves anymore, it’s time to use our REV’IT! Textile Spray to make the outer shell water repellent again.

Just follow the instructions on the cannister, and you're good to go!
