The DIRT Series modular layering system presents a new kind of flexibility. You can easily select and combine a variety of jackets, pants, and gloves to create the ultimate outfit for your riding style, environment, and climate. But it doesn’t end there. Not only are the outer shells interchangeable, but this also applies to the level of impact protection you desire. It’s easy to upgrade your outfit to the highest level of armor.
The DIRT Series jackets and pants come standard with the incredibly flexible and unnoticeable SEESMART CE-level 1 protection at the elbows, shoulders, hips, and knees. All of which can be easily removed and upgraded - in case you want to up the protection level - by using our mesh CE-level 2 Proteus protector jacket, Slingshot back protector, and Scram knee protectors.

Our lightweight & breathable Proteus protector jacket functions as an upgrade for the DIRT Series collection, which should be worn under your jersey or various jackets we offer. It’s constructed with a combination of densely woven Hicom mesh at the shoulders, a two-way spandex mesh body, and PWR|Stretch mesh on the inner area of the sleeves. This combination provides optimal support, airflow, and flexibility. The Proteus protector jacket features our award-winning and well-ventilated SEEFLEX armor at the shoulders and elbows.
SEEFLEX protectors are shaped to absorb and dissipate force at the same time through internal expansion. The open construction allows the material to expand in on itself under impact, deflecting and reducing any impact energy out away from the protector surface and away from the body. Tested and approved as CE-level 2 in both hot +40C (T+) and -10C (T-) conditions means it offers the highest level of impact protection in various climates. Furthermore, you’ll find our SEESOFT CE-level 1 divided chest protectors at the front and the SEESOFT CE-level 2 back protector around back.
The Slingshot back protector is a lightweight and comfortable armor upgrade that covers the back of the rider and offers the highest CE-certification level. The Slingshot is constructed with a combination of Hicom mesh on the outside and a highly breathable 3D mesh on the inside, preventing a build-up of perspiration on the rider’s back.
The energy-dispersing element of this back protector is our SEESOFT back protector. SEESOFT works because of its unique layer-shifting construction. The highly impact-resistant blend of nitrile and polynorbornene rubber results in a memory foam that is multi-impact rated and CE-certified level 2. The memory foam makes sure your body can twist and turn in its natural way when riding, allowing full freedom of movement for maximum mobility.
The highest level of knee protection we provide is through our Scram knee protectors. Armor that covers both the knee and the upper part of the shin while extending into the boot of the rider; leaving no part of the lower leg unprotected - when worn in conjunction with taller boots, of course.
One adjustment strap can be found above the knee and one at the calf, to ensure a perfect and comfortable fit. Both our Continent and Peninsula pants – as part of our DIRT Series collection - have a knee construction designed to work with our Scram knee protectors. Leveling up is just a knee protector away.
We know that anything can happen when tackling the trails. Whether it’s a stump that appears out of nowhere, a sudden change in weather that leads to extremely slippery surfaces, a water crossing that didn’t go as planned, we’ve been there. That’s why we created the Segur neck brace. Wearing a neck brace has been proven to significantly reduce neck injuries by protecting the cervical vertebrae of the spine against the force of an impact.
Our Segur neck brace helps to reduce possible neck injuries caused by hyper-flexion, hyper-extension, axial load, shear load, lateral hyper-flexion and whiplash by limiting rotation and transferring excessive load from the neck to the rest of the body. It can be worn on top of all the DIRT Series jackets and jerseys with the supplied harness and doesn’t get in your way. It can even be taken off or put on without the removal of your helmet. That’s smart thinking.
