There’s a distinct connection between
motorcycle clothing and protection. The two obviously go hand in hand. As
obvious as the notion may be, there’s so much more to protectors than just
safeguarding life and limb. That’s precisely why our motorcycle protection
collection doesn’t provide a single one-size-fits-all solution to keeping you
out of harm’s way.
Bulk-free protection
Protectors serve as energy dispersants, absorbing
and dispersing the forces of an impact, but until they’re called upon to do
their job, protection would best not be there at all. The passive nature of
protectors is at the base of the design. All our protectors are engineered not
to impede mobility, so their makeup is minimalistic and free of bulk, with as
much ventilation as possible built in to prevent heat build-up under the
protectors. How far we can go in offering the most
subtle and bulk free yet also the most effective protectors, largely depends on
the application. That’s why our protectors are made to follow the human anatomy,
however they do vary in shape, architecture, and material from one to another.
From our lightest, most flexible CE-level 1 certified SEESMART protectors to
the more high-end CE-level 2 certified SEEFLEX protection.
Minimized by design
You can find the SEESMART protection in our
Urban collections, like our jeans and the Metropolitan Commuter collections –
squarely aimed at comfort and as such barely even noticeable. The slightly more
hardcore SEEFLEX protection is found in our Adventure segment collections.
Still very much minimized by design, but just ever so slightly beefier without
turning out too bulky. For our back protectors, you can rely on
the SEESOFT inserts or the Tryonic back protector harnesses. We also use our SEESOFT
material for the split chest protector inserts.
Upgrading protection
You’ll find most of our jackets, pants,
jeans, and suits come equipped with either SEESMART or SEEFLEX protection as
standard, with the option of adding additional protectors or to upgrade the available
armor.
