DIRT Series Layering & Modularity
The DIRT Series is a modular layering system inspired by outdoor gear. It separates impact protection, ventilated abrasion jerseys and jackets, and waterproof abrasion shells so you can build the right outfit for any ride. Start with protection close to the body, add abrasion resistance and airflow with jerseys or jackets, then layer on waterproof shells when weather demands it.
Protection
∙ CE-rated protectors for body, knees, and optional neck. ∙ Impact protection only – always pair with abrasion-resistant outerwear. ∙ Essential under a jersey. Jackets and pants include basic CE-level 1 impact SEESMART protectors, upgrades give CE-level 2 SEEFLEX/SEESOFT protection.
Jerseys & Jackets
∙ Jerseys: Lightweight, breathable, do not include impact protectors so need separate impact protection to be worn. ∙ Ventilated jackets: Mesh/textile with abrasion resistance, and CE-level 1 SEESMART impact protectors. ∙ Waterproof shells (H2O): Rain/windproof with vents, abrasion-resistance, and CE-level 1 SEESMART impact protectors.
All jackets accomodate CE-level 2 SEEFLEX/SEESOFT protection upgrades.
Tip: Use a rain shell over jerseys/ventilated jackets.
Pants
∙ In-boot: Tapered, flexible, dry conditions. Include CE-level 1 SEESMART impact protectors. ∙ Over-boot: Splash resistant/expedition-ready, or waterproof/rain-ready (H2O). Include CE-level 1 SEESMART impact protectors.
All accommodate CE-level 2 SEEFLEX knee protection upgrades or knee braces; waterproof versions (H2O) can double as overpants.
Gloves
∙ Hot/dry: Short, ventilated, MX/enduro style. ∙ Mixed: Leather/textile hybrids balance protection and dexterity. ∙ Cold/wet: Insulated. Prioritize warmth and grip in rain.
Base & Mid Layers
∙ Base layers regulate body temperature (warm or cool). ∙ Mid layers add insulation. Lightweight and compressible so the modular system remains packable.
