Coccyx ProtectionReady for Avertum Tech-Air® airbag system - ONE SIZE UPUnder this garment you can wear our REV'IT! Avertum Tech-Air® Airbag - or a Tech5 airbag - if you purchase the garment one size bigger than your usual size.
If you wish to wear a garment that is marked as ""Ready for Avertum Tech-Air® airbag system"", you must be sure that the garment can accommodate the expansion of the airbag and therefore we recommend following below fit equation:
1. Measure chest circumference and divide the measurement by two;
2. Measure garment flat on chest line;
3. If the difference between point 1 and point 2 is 12 centimeters or bigger the garment is suitable to wear on top of the airbag.
Note: Please keep in mind that the garment should be purchased in the correct size in order for the shoulder and elbow protection to fit properly and best protect you in case of a crash. In order to create space for the expansion of the airbag, you can remove all separate layers (thermal liners, water proof liners) that can restrict the expansion of the airbag in the event of a crash. Remove the separate back protector in your garment, if any, when wearing the airbag (a back protector is included in the airbag) and adjust all adjustment straps on body to the widest position.
Prepared for SEESOFT CE-level 2 Insert Back ProtectorThe back protector pocket in this REV'IT! garment is tailor-made to accommodate the SEESOFT CE-level 2 back protector insert Type RV - an easy upgrade to maximize safety.
Safety seamsThe stitching in motorcycle garments contributes greatly to the abrasion resistance of the total gear. This is why REV'IT! uses safety seams on garment areas at increased risk of impact. Safety seams have a visible as well as an invisible seam. This construction keeps the material of the outer shell together, even when the visible seam is thorn.
